Anthony Albanese’s Pharmacist Adele Tahan has called on the Prime Minister to sit down and negotiate with the Pharmacy Guild on a solution forward as pharmacists voice their concerns over the government’s 60-day dispensing policy.

“We’re talking about a lot of pharmacies will be closing down, and I’m risking my own pharmacy may close down,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.

She said small and big pharmacies will find it challenging to continue providing free services with the government’s new dispensing policy.

Ms Tahan wants Australians to call or write to the Prime Minister and to call their local member to tell them about the impact Labor’s new policy will have on pharmacies.
